If it’s got an E in front of it, it should mean Error. Try the test again, exactly as the instructions tell you. If it comes up again, call the doctor…it could be registering to high to calculate.
What type of meter are you using?
Try again, with a different strip. If that doesn’t work, I’d call the meter manufacturer and ask what that error message means.
If you have another meter, check your blood sugar with it, to make sure that it isn’t too high to register, although I think most meters will generally read “HI” if that is the case.
Good luck!
I would think you need to refer to your manual that came with your bg meter. E means error and the 9 might mean error # 9 in your booklet. See if that will tell you something.
i am diabetic also and i think it mean your sugar is high or you press a button when you checked your sugar
I can tell you what it means if you tell me what meter it is.
