The cause of diabetes in youngsters is not really known, yet there are several ideas why young people get this issue. It needs to be explained that the subsequent written content is obtained from trusted health-related resources although these theories are not proved.
Whenever boys and girls are informed they have diabetic issues, they commonly will have “type one”. This type of diabetes affects 90%-95% out of all the girls and boys diagnosed that are less than sixteen, even though in some cases girls and boys may perhaps be identified as having “type two”.

Up until the last decade or so, type 2 diabetes was referred to as “adult onset diabetes,” which meant that it took time to develop in older, overweight adults, typically between 40-50 years old. But with a more sedentary lifestyle and poor eating habits among children, they, too, are coming down with type 2 diabetes, along with other health problems prevalent among adults. Because of this, we need to stop referring type 2 diabetes as adult onset diabetes. Up until a decade ago, type 2 diabetes was very rare in children. But today, it’s become the norm among children.
Do you want a really sad statistic? Statistics show that if current trends continue, one out of very three of our children born in 2000, here in America, will develop diabetes in their lifetime. For African and Latino kids, it’s one out of very two.

Diabetes and Children – Type 1 Diabetes and Cow’s Milk
The food enterprise is well apprised of the ill effects of chemical poisons they provide in our food. In Michgan, farmers knowingly fed their cows known human hazard banned chemicals. The reason is the same reason farmers all over the US shoot the cows with different chemicals — to fatten the cow for profits. This is habitual in a community that has proven over time to place profits above public health. The food industry is poisoning the cows and this poison is passed on to your children thus causing an increase in Type 1 diabetes.
This diabetes type 1 debate has been ongoing in the time past the early 1980′s. It’s always strange to me to discover how food industry experts can always convene up scientific data to champion their positions. The tobacco industry was successful at this “poisioning of Americans” for infinite decades. The Michigan farmers I mentioned previous got off with not even a slap on the wrist–those poor farmers didn’t even know the PCP’s were poison so they claimed. A football player can get railroaded to jail for dog fighting yet, the food industry gets nothing but a wink and a warning while churnning out wholesale poision to the dinner table in wholsale quantities. Show me some brain power, show me some conciousness.

Diabetes in children – signs and symptoms plus causes are major hurdle to jump. It goes without saying children are more vulnerable and likely to be extinguished by diabetes, if not diagnosed and attended to early enough. The lower the age, the higher the risk coupled with low developing immune system, to weather any opportunistic infections. The sad fact about diabetic children is that the disease remains and grows with them developing complications early that are associated with the disease like retinopathy, kidney failure etc.
It is tempting to ignore as well and forego by mistake on the assumption that nature should take its natural cause and heal the young star. Let’s be sincere to all and sundry; diabetic children have tougher routines, parents especially their mothers go through hell. Let’s face it; the mother has to learn to administer insulin into the skin usually done over the abdomen or the thighs. There is not an option to treatment whether it is rapid acting insulin or the night slow mode; the formula is the same injection. She must learn to recognize, low or high sugar situations and take appropriate action; including exercising the patient and so forth; the program is tough for her.

Diabetes Mellitus is a problem in metabolism specifically on the production of insulin used to convert sugar and starch for energy. The cells in our body would experience hunger and thus cause you to be weak once this is not treated immediately. Diabetes in children is a common condition and when it is not detected at an earlier time, complications can happen and it can have certain effects on the organs of the body like the heart, kidney and even the eyes. The complications can be irreversible and it would then be very hard to follow a treatment regimen.
There are two types of Diabetes. Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus is due to the destruction of cells of the pancreas that produces insulin thus there is none enough to metabolize sugar creating the different signs and symptoms. Type 2 Diabetes on the other hand is a condition wherein the body resists insulin or there is only a little amount of insulin produced. This type can be managed by change in lifestyle and following a healthy diet and exercise. The first type is what commonly occurs on children.

The rate of Type 2 diabetes in children and adolescents are now in alarming state of increase that lead to chronic health conditions such as loss of vision, limb amputation, kidney disorders, and cardiovascular risks. Most physicians suppose the growing rate of this medical condition is as a result of poor food choices, increasing obesity and the sedentary lifestyle experienced by children today.
Type 2 diabetes is a life long disorder of pancreas that fails to produce enough insulin in the body or fails to use the insulin suitably. This slows down the natural ability of human cells to breakdown sugar or glucose into energy and increases the amount of sugar to stay in the blood causing elevated blood sugar levels. The actual reason for the rapid increase of Type 2 diabetes in children is still unknown though there are various possible causes including family history or hereditary, overweight or obesity, physically inactive lifestyle etc. The release of hormones during teen ages can also lead to insulin resistance that can in turn cause Type 2 diabetes. Children with type 2 diabetes are also more possible to develop hypertension or abnormal levels of blood fats.
